Other than writing stories and websites, I do actually do a fair bit of programming. I enjoy it and it takes my mind of other things.
Originally, I intended this section to include BBC BASIC material and some RISC OS specific material, but I really couldn't be bothered doing it. Perhaps one day I will, but for the moment, you'll have to put up with what I have here!

Believe it or not, but this is an actual copy of a C++ course I attended. Now, had the course been offered in 1995 (or at any point pre-1998), then I wouldn't have as much of a problem with the content. However, this was delivered in 2000. As I have said in the main section of it, I won't reveal which college it came from
This was my first attempt at writing a set of tutorials for Archive magazine on the C programming language. I've not updated it in a long time, so if you find any glaring errors, please let me know.
This was a follow up series for Archive on writing WIMP applications using C. It was based on the material in the utterly wonderful Wimp Programming for All by Lee Calcraft and Alan Wrigley. It's no longer in print, but you may be able to get a copy from someone on eBay. Before I could finish it, something happened at work and I didn't get around to finishing it
The C# pages need expanding on. Currently, they don't have much in there, but do have the well respected how-to's on compiling Novell's Mono package
I've decided to make public the collection of C and C++ puzzles that I've collected over the years for you to play with. There aren't that many, but they are quite fun!
The ACCU is the Association of C and C++ Users - a user group devoted to those who use the C family of languages (and Java) and to the betterment of the users of the language.
One of the ideas was to run a mentored developers programme based on using the cross platform wxWidgets library. What I have here is a mirror of a well known, but unfinished wxWidgets tutorial written by someone else which was to form the basis of the material to be used.
